Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VFixIt.ca ("Website") and our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Website or services.

2. Service Description

VFixIt provides professional handyman and home repair services in the Greater Toronto Area. Services include but are not limited to plumbing, electrical work, painting, cleaning, and general home maintenance.

All estimates provided are approximate and subject to change based on actual site conditions. Final pricing will be confirmed after a site visit.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

3.1 Booking Requirements

  • A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment
  • Full payment for services is due upon completion
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover

3.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before appointment: Full deposit refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment: $25 cancellation fee
  • No-shows: Forfeit full deposit
  • Rescheduling requests made 24+ hours in advance: No fee

4. Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty: All services come with a 90-day workmanship warranty from date of completion.

Material Warranties: Materials used may carry manufacturer warranties, which will be provided to you.

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with our work, we'll return to make it right at no additional cost.

5. Limitation of Liability

VFixIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed before service
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance after service completion
  • Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications made after our service

6. Insurance and Licensing

VFixIt maintains comprehensive liability insurance and all our technicians are properly licensed for their respective trades in Ontario.

Proof of insurance and licensing can be provided upon request.

7. User Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information for estimates
  • Ensuring safe access to the work area
  • Securing pets during service visits
  • Removing valuable or fragile items from work areas

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
